On April 30, 3,200 vines were planted on our estate, marking the beginning of a wonderful winemaking adventure.
This project is part of a long-term approach guided by a strong conviction: to work with living organisms. Agroforestry, biodiversity, and respect for the environment will be at the heart of our vineyard’s development to promote the most natural growth possible.
We move forward with humility, aware that each terroir has its own unique characteristics and that this journey will, above all, be a wonderful opportunity for learning and sharing.

The creation of a vineyard begins long before the first grapes appear. It starts with the selection of high-quality grapevines and the expertise of passionate professionals.
For the planting of our vineyards at Château d’Apigné, we chose to partner with PVVL—Plants de Vigne du Val de Loire. With decades of experience, PVVL supports winemakers with rigorously selected vines, high-quality technical support, and recognized expertise in the wine industry.
Their commitment, advice, and passion are helping to write the first chapters of Château d’Apigné’s winemaking history.
Thank you to the entire team, and especially to David Gautreau for his support in this wonderful adventure!
